Zunyi-Guiyang highway expansion project now fully operational
The Zunyi-Guiyang Highway project in southwest China’s Guizhou Province became fully operational on Tuesday. The 1,549-kilometer long project can handle daily traffic volume of 50,000 vehicles compared to 30,000 previously. It will also cut travel time between Zunyi and Guiyang by 45 minutes.
Over 90 bridges were built for the expansion project. The project has made use of the most advanced highway construction technologies in China.
